Peace and Hope Trust is a 501 C (3) nonprofit organization committed to providing relief and development in remote regions of Nicaragua.

Working closely with local communities we have built: rice mills, churches, health clinics, community wharfs, hurricane shelters and an orphanage. 

We currently support and operate a self-sustaining coffee farm, community feeding program for children, renewable energy initiatives in rural communities and vocational training programs in sewing, agriculture and carpentry.

Our permanent presence in Nicaragua allows us to respond immediately to humanitarian crisis.  In the wake of Hurricanes Mitch, Beta and Felix we were able to deliver life saving supplies to villages where the government was unable to provide relief.  We regularly visit some of the most isolated villages in Central America delivering food, mosquito nets and medicine after deadly seasonal flooding and hurricanes. 

All of this work is made possible because of our donors and our volunteers – people who are willing to roll up their sleeves and join in.
